Chapter 1

One

They deserve it anyway.”

And we’re just friends. Hmm, maybe we should send her a box of chocolate as well.

“Good afternoon, Sir.”

“Good afternoon, Lily.”

“Hi, Sir Vash!”

“Hello, Susan.”

“You’re going out, Mr. Illustre?”

“Yes, Alicia. I’m off to Elite Hotel now. I’ll see you all tomorrow.”

And then he heard those whispers behind him.

I just love to see him!”

He almost laughed when he saw a group of female employees watching him and then turning ultra red in the face when he turned to them.

“They all seem to know me.”

“Natural lang iyon, Sir. Kayo ang big boss namin, eh.”

“Still, I like the way they smile and greet me. Makes me feel so important.”

“Sir, boss namin kayo.”

“Right.”

“At lahat sila, may crush sa inyo.”

“Ah.”

His driver adjusted the rearview mirror.

“May nanay ako!”

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

Buntis ka, `no?”

“Twenty-four months na, Sir. Ninong kayo sa binyag, ha?”

“No problem.

“Hello, Gloria?” Ang sekretarya niya ang tinawagan. “Can you find out something about this certain church in Quezon City…”

“Hanggang second year lang ako.

“Enjoy your lunch, Lita.”

“Yes, Sir? Can I help you?”

“Sure.” “You’re the house cleaner?”

“Yes, Sir. What can I help you with?”

“The faucet in my bathroom is not working well. Check it, will you? Come on in.”

“Ah, Sir, I don’t have any knowledge about plumbing. The maintenance department will be more of help. I’ll call—”

“Maybe you should check it first.”

For their own safety na rin.

“I will, Sir. Just let me call someone from the maintenance department first— Hey!” Hinawakan na kasi siya nito sa braso. “Sir, I think you better let me go or I’ll call the hotel security.”

“Is there a problem here?”

Napakaguwapo nito. The fierceness in his eyes didn’t lessen the handsome features of his face. He was now glaring down at the foreigner who immediately let go of her arm.

“No,” sagot ng Arabyano. “No problem.”

“Yes, Sir.” Binalingan ni Presea ang foreigner. “I’ll call the maintenance department to send someone to fix your faucet, Sir. Good afternoon.”

“Okay.”

“Walang ano man.

“Ah…” Uminit na ang kanyang mga pisngi. Nagba-blush na yata siya. “S-salamat ho.”

“Sige,” paalam nito.

“Ah, Sir.

Luna Aurora

Aurora, the devoted Luna of the Shadow Pack, has spent years by Alpha Fenrir's side, supporting him and nurturing their pack as his fated mate. But when his first love, Arianna, returns, Fenrir's heart falters. In a moment of weakness, he dismisses Aurora and demands a divorce, shattering her world. Unknown to him, Aurora carries his child-a secret she vows to protect as she retreats to her family, heartbroken but resilient. As Fenrir embraces his rekindled relationship with Arianna, he soon realizes that she's not the woman he once loved. Her cruelty toward the pack and unfaithful ways become impossible to ignore, while memories of Aurora's warmth haunt him. When Fenrir discovers the truth about Aurora's pregnancy, it's almost too late. Determined to reunite his family, Fenrir sets out on a journey to find Aurora, hoping she will forgive him and let him back into her life. But can he mend the wounds he caused? Or will he lose his fated mate and child forever?
