Description

"How much?" I frowned at the shadowed man, in an expensive looking car. "Excuse me? I don't understand..." realization dawned on me, as I looked at my skimpy club attire. I raised my hands, "I-I'm not a person you've thought!" I felt his dark eyes analyzing me and suddenly I was aware of the situation. I began backing up, as panic washed through me. "Get in the car." His growl came, and with that, I turned on my heels and ran.

Chapter 1

Nov 27, 2025

"You guys fucking suck," I muttered as we walked into the pulsing black-light club.

"Come on, my little exotic friend, let's party!" My friend Amanda squealed in my ear.

It was my 18th birthday, and I was dressed in a tight red dress that wouldn't fit an 8-year-old boy.

Thick black winged makeup caked my face, and my lips were painted a bright red.

My ink black hair hung down and long around my shoulders, and I almost face-planted in the high-heeled stilettos that I was forced into.

Fuck. My. Life.

"Happy Birthday, Calla!" My friends screamed over the rave music as we walked in.

I rolled my eyes and smiled at them as we made our way to the dance floor.

I was with my friends Amanda, Brie, and Stacy, and they kidnapped me. They're absolutely psycho, last week, they blew up my neighbor's mailbox with fireworks. For no fucking reason.

Stacy got pulled over for speeding, and she dabbed when the officer asked for her registration.

I sighed.

Hundreds of people were crowded on the floor, the stench of alcohol and smoke flooded my lungs as I swayed to the rave music.

White lights flashed through my vision as I saw Stacy grinding into some guy as he was kissing the side of her neck.

Suddenly, I felt a pair of rough hands grab my hips, and I turned around to see some drunk college guy who smelled like cologne and booze.

"Hey gorgeous." He said as his hands gripped my hips.
My eyes widened as I made a weak attempt to pull out of his grasp.

He ignored my attempt as his unfocused eyes roamed all over me. He pulled me close to him, I felt his hard-on through the thin fabric of my dress and using more force, I pulled out of his grasp. My heart was pounding.

I turned away from him and ignored his calls as I pushed past through the sweaty bodies and walked over to my friend Brie.

"Hey, um I'm not having a lot of fun, and I think I should go-"

She cut me off by dragging me off the dance floor, and to the bar.

"Simon!" She screamed over the music, and the bartender came over to us. She stood on her tiptoes as she leaned over the bar.

He was handsome, with light hair and light eyes; he was well built and he had a friendly look to him.

"Hey Brie, who's your friend?" He asked, his voice raised over the music.

She pulled me to the front of the counter, and I smiled at Simon.

"This is Calla! It's her Birthday and she wants something that will give her the confidence to grind on every horny bastard that she sees!"  Brie yelled with a devious grin.

I frowned, "no no, I'm fine."

His smile grew, "what's that accent? Are you Russian?"

"Yeah, I moved down a few years back." I said loudly over the aching music.

"Yeah, who gives a fuck, just give her some good stuff!" Brie screamed, and I frowned at her choice of words.

He looked at me and boyishly smiled, "of course, anything for Brie's stunning Russian friend. Give me a second." He said as he turned around the corner.

"Isn't he just the fucking cutest?" she squealed, her bleached blonde hair stuck to her forehead as she bounced up and down.

"Yeah, he's adorable." I rolled my eyes as I turned back to the counter in time to see Simon set down a bluish drink.

"What's this?" I asked him.

"Bottoms up," was all he said. He grinned, "if you feel like fucking later, I get off at midnight." He winked at me and nodded to Brie before he left to attend to another customer.

I rolled my eyes at his choice of words.

"Drink it bitch!" Brie screamed as she downed a shot of her own.

I furrowed my eyebrows before downing the burning liquid.

I coughed as it stung my throat and tears sprang into my eyes.

I felt the burning liquid making its way down my throat and my head began to feel light almost instantly.

"The hell is that?" I squeaked as I smashed the glass on the table.

"That, my Russian crumpet, is the key to happiness and sex, and sex is happiness! Now let's go dance!"

I sighed as I followed her to the dance floor, and through every step I felt myself becoming undone.
-------------------------------------------------------

Hours later, I found myself making out with some guy on the dance floor, his hands cupping my ass as he pulled me impossibly close to him. I breathed into him as I pressed my hands flat on his chest.

I don't even remember how I got to this point. My lips were moving in sync with his, but I didn't really feel his lips; it was like I was on autopilot, and now it was time for me to take control. The numbness was starting to pass.

I pulled away from the guy, sweat glistened on his face as he began to kiss his way down my neck and his hands rode up my dress.

I frowned. This was not going well; at this rate, we would end up having sex, and I did not want to lose my virginity to some random guy I met at a club.

I pushed away from him, and his dark eyes frowned at me as I turned away from him.

He began to come after me, but I turned on my heels and ran towards the bar.

"Simon, hey Simon!" I yelled.

Light-haired poked up from the counter, "My little Russian girl, I get off in twenty, my place or yours?"

I frowned, "What? No." I took a step back "Have you seen Brie?"

He paused, "Yeah she left with some guy about an hour ago."

I shook my head, "What? No, she wouldn't leave."

He shrugged, "Sorry."

I held my head in my hands as it began to pound, "um, have you seen those other two girls I came with? Amanda and Stacy?"

"Stacy's the shorter one with a pixi cut, right?"

I nodded desperately, hoping that he knew where she was.

"She left about twenty minutes ago. But I think that other girl you came with is still here, Amanda right?"

I nodded furiously, "da, yeah."

He scanned the crowd and then nodded towards Amanda, making out with some guy.

"Thank you." I said with a smile as relief flooded through me.

"Remember, I get off at 12!" He yelled, but I was too far in the crowd to reply as I ran over to Amanda.

"Hey! Amanda!" I yelled as I grabbed her shoulder, "I want to go home."

She broke away from the guy, "I'm staying. Brie is the one who drove here. Go get her."

She smashed her lips to the guy again as he began to openly grope her.

"She left!"

No reply.

"Amanda!"

She turned to me, "Chill the hell out, okay? Go home with some guy, have fun, we're not your babysitters, okay?"

She didn't wait for me to respond because she went back to kissing the guy. She was drunk, horny, and possibly high. She would be of zero help, even if she wanted to be.

I felt panic wash through me.

I took in a deep breath and walked out of the club.

There has to be a taxi, I just need to go back to my apartment.

"Blyad." I cursed under my breath as I looked up and down the empty streets.

There wasn't a person in sight, the only sound was the muffled rave music from inside the club.

It was pitch black outside, the street lamps produced a dim light, the street illuminated the light with a grey beam.

I pulled out my cellphone to call a cab, but there was no signal.

Fuck you, Verizon Wireless.

I pulled my arms around me and sighed as I began making my way down the street. I refused to go back into the club.

I continued walking, or at least attempting to walk. I'm such a fucking clutz that every other step I would trip and fall.

I continued walking, hoping I would come across a public building with a landline of some sort, but it's just my luck that all businesses are closed at 12 pm.

A few blocks later, beaming headlights shone from behind me, and I turned to see a sleek black car pull up in front of me.

The windows were tinted, and I could see my reflection in the glass.

I took a step back at the close proximity of the car, and frowned as the passenger window slid down.

A man with dark hair and black sunglasses appeared, his face was stern and expressionless as he looked at me from behind his shades.

I took another step back, unsure of what to do, when he said the two words that would change my life forever.

"How much?"

I frowned at the shadowed man in his expensive-looking car.

"Excuse me? I don't understand..." Realization dawned on me, as I looked at my skimpy club attire through the reflection.

I raised my hands, "I-I'm not a prostitute."

I felt his dark eyes analyzing me and suddenly I was aware of the situation. I began backing up, as panic washed through me.

"Get in the car." His growl came, and with that, I turned on my heels and ran.
