"You’re still so beautiful, Aviana,” he whispers, sending cold shivers down my spine. My heart is beating so fast. I try so hard to calm myself so he doesn't see how frightened I am because it will only please him more.

“You thought he could save you? There’s no escaping me,”

“He’ll kill you, let me go,” he lets out a cold, dry laugh, looking around the window.

“No, he won’t, but does he even care anymore now that he got what he wanted?” he says harshly, grabbing my neck and showing me around his 'empire.' Indeed, there are so many guards; he is the lord here, and every man out there will die for him.

“But just in case, I’ll be ready. Oh, trust me, I will,” he says with a sinister smile, nodding, leaving me to sit on his throne-like seat. He continues to look at me.

“You’ll always be mine,” he says, pointing at the scar on my side. He did this to me. It was his claim on me to show all of them I belonged to him.

I unconsciously touch the old scar, and tears freely stream down my face. He smiles, nodding, sensing my fear and helplessness. His face contorts, and the scar on his jaw looks bigger; no one can miss it.

“Take her away,” he orders the two guards who were in the room with us.

When I reach, everything is as I remember, cold and dark, just like my life right now...

I find myself missing them more every day—his warmth and cold nature but always gentle with me. I miss my baby too.

‘No one will harm you again, human. I will always protect you,’ he says so sure of himself, with his cockiness and arrogance—always so confident.

‘I’ll always find you, my little human survivor.'
